The anatomy of a BEEZ.

For the past month we have been very bussy working on the core principles of Beezway and we spent most of our time discussing what a Beez should be. The same way we know what a Tweet or a Post is and what it does, we also needed to figure out what a Beez is. In this post I will focus mainly on the anatomy of a Beez which is at the core of Beezway.

When we first started working on our Beezway platform, we were mainly focused at what businesses need to get their job done, but the more we worked on those concepts, the more we understood that we should focus our attention at people and not companies. At the end of the day, people are the one who get the job done, not companies. So starting from this fresh perspective it was clear that we needed to create an amazing tool built for people, not companies.

First example of a Beez
We had a plan to develop a messaging system inside Beezway since the beginning, but now one thing is clear, what we will need do is to build Beezway around a messaging platform and not the other way around.

Enter the Beez a new way to communicate and collaborate inside the company and out. A Beez can essentially be used as a replacement for:

We started from the basic idea that in a business environment every mail ( or message ) can also be a task or even an event. So we decided to create a single message window which can be used to send a message, delegate a task or schedule an event. This way the user doesn't need to switch between different applications or screens when he needs to send out an information to co-workers or partners.

Another basic concept of a Beez is sharing. In Beezway you share information, you don't send it. This creates the need for a new concept of information sharing, this is why we replaced the outdated inbox with a much more elegant stream approach. Beezway will work with everyone and you don't have to worry what platform other people are using. It will take care of delivering the message for you.

So here it is, the Beez, a new easy tool to communicate, collaborate and plan activities. Stay tuned for more.
